Deployable site surveillance

Construction Site Security Without Power or Fixed Internet.

Deployable surveillance systems designed for early-stage construction and civil worksites where infrastructure is incomplete, evolving or unavailable.

The infrastructure gap

Construction sites are most exposed before fixed services are connected.

Traditional CCTV systems assume infrastructure already exists. Construction projects often do not have permanent power or fixed internet during the stages where tools, plant and materials are most exposed. Mains power is frequently weeks or months from connection, site layouts shift between stages, and temporary compounds, gates and laydown areas keep moving as works progress.

Arxus Sentinel systems are designed to help bridge that infrastructure gap using deployable solar-powered surveillance with 4G remote access and optional satellite connectivity for remote deployments where required.

Why fixed CCTV struggles on temporary worksites

Conventional surveillance assumes infrastructure construction sites don't have yet.

Mains power dependency

Fixed CCTV typically requires permanent electrical supply that early-stage sites don't yet have.

Fixed internet dependency

Conventional systems assume NBN, fibre or fixed internet that may be months from being commissioned.

Relocation difficulty

Hard-wired cameras can't easily move when the compound, gate or laydown shifts.

Temporary compounds

Site offices, sheds and gates are reconfigured between project stages.

Changing work zones

Active work fronts shift across the site as the program progresses.

Remote laydown areas

Outlying material and plant zones are often beyond fixed services entirely.

Why deployable surveillance matters

Practical site coverage without waiting for infrastructure.

Deployable, solar-powered surveillance reduces the dependency on fixed services so coverage can start when the site is at its most exposed — during early works, staged construction and remote civil programs.

Rapid deployment

Solar and 4G remove the wait for grid power and fixed internet to be commissioned.

Flexible placement

Units can be repositioned as compounds, gates and active works shift across the site.

Remote visibility

Review site activity remotely without needing to be physically on site.

Built for staged works

Designed for evolving construction and civil programs rather than fixed buildings.

Connectivity for evolving sites

4G as standard, with options for harder-to-reach sites.

4G remote access (standard)

4G mobile connectivity is the default, allowing remote viewing without a fixed internet service on site. Carrier and antenna configuration is confirmed against site coverage at quote stage.

Optional satellite connectivity

Optional satellite internet is available for remote deployments where 4G coverage is limited — suitable for regional, civil and remote-area projects. Connectivity ultimately depends on the deployment environment.
